I've been painting watercolors of Maine scenes since coming to Maine in summers as a teenager. In 1992, after a long stint away from Maine and watercolors, I moved here. My watercolor painting soon became a kind of visual journal or portfolio of the places in this area, the midcoast. I also teach watercolor classes and workshops. For the past several years one of my students has been sponsoring free drawing class for kids which I teach, at the Rockland Public Library. The children and their parents draw along with my demonstrations. It's great fun to work in that kind of collaboration.

I continue to offer my art reproduced as cards and prints, usually made by hand, which I sell at local venues, and through my website. There you will also find my free coloring pages and information about my classes and workshops www.catinkacards.com
